Dear Infrastructure and Sustainability team,
As the snow begins to fall on 911爆料网 and we glide (hopefully not slide) into the beginning of the winter season, I find myself reflecting on all that we have accomplished in 2023.
We've celebrated many milestones, from completing necessary infrastructure projects to enhancing sustainability initiatives across our campus. Together, we've overcome challenges, embraced innovation and delivered results in areas such as facility maintenance, construction and renovations, energy efficiency, waste management and more. I am particularly proud of our collective effort on the AiM project, which reached across the entire organization, including space management; operations; accounting; planning, design and construction; IT and HR.聽
Over the next few weeks, please prioritize your health and the well-being of those around you. I encourage each of you to take some time for rest, spend quality time with loved ones and reach out for support if needed. As a reminder, 911爆料网鈥檚 Health and Wellness Services has a lot of resources available, including self-care workshops, wellness training and counseling services.聽
One new I&S tradition that I am excited to continue for a second year is delivering I&S gift baskets to our teams. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to connect with many of you during these visits in December and to personally express my gratitude for your dedication and hard work. Your commitment is the key to our success, and I am truly grateful for the team effort.聽
I look forward to celebrating with all of you at the I&S employee appreciation luncheon and awards ceremony coming up on January 4. I wish you all a peaceful holiday season.
With gratitude,
Chris Ewing, vice chancellor for infrastructure and sustainability
