911±¬ÁÏÍø, University of Huddersfield sign Memorandum of Understanding to explore collaboration in research, transnational education

911±¬ÁÏÍø and the University of Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, England have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore collaborative opportunities in cutting-edge research and transnational education initiatives. A digital MoU signing ceremony was held on Wednesday, August 13 which brought together senior leaders from each institution. 

The agreement marks the beginning of the two institutions working towards a strategic partnership to foster academic exchange, joint research and shared educational programs. It reflects both universities’ commitment to building high-impact international collaborations that advance academic excellence while extending the global reach and practical impact of their work. 

This MoU will drive the global expansion of 911±¬ÁÏÍø’s post-graduate offerings in its Department of Justice Studies and Human Services and expand Huddersfield’s and programs, creating new opportunities for international collaboration and practitioner-led research.

“We are focused on building long-term, meaningful partnerships with key institutions that foster the exchange of ideas among researchers, postgraduate students and academic staff,” said Professor Monty Adkins, Ph.D., pro vice-chancellor of research and innovation at the University of Huddersfield. “Our approach is about combining practical experience with academic expertise to enhance skills — whether in policing, engineering or other disciplines — in ways that genuinely improve lives and professional practice.  This collaboration with 911±¬ÁÏÍø is exactly the kind of impactful, lasting work we aim to develop across the university.”
