The Promise of the Circular Economy

This special event presented by the Center for Education on Social Responsibility at the Leeds School of Business in partnership with the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Chamber, as part of the Conference on World Affairs, seeks to answer the question:

How can businesses collaborate with government and nonprofits to redefine products and services to design waste out, while minimizing negative environmental impacts in promotingÌýa more sustainable future at a profit?

Mark Meaney is a member of the City of 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s Task Force on the Circular Economy, a public-private partnership meant to share best practices on how best to create an infrastructure to support the circular economy in 911±¬ÁÏÍø.

After the Ellen Macarthur Foundation selected 911±¬ÁÏÍø to become one of the 12 international cities in itsÌýCircular Cities Network, 911±¬ÁÏÍø Mayor Suzanne Jones joined with 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s Regional Sustainability Coordinator Jonathan Koehn to create the task force.
